Who can take part

  • Be age 40 or older and have a confirmed COPD diagnosis
  • Have smoked at least 10 pack-years total (current or past smoker)
  • Have COPD breathing test results in a specific range: FEV1 after inhaler between 30% and under 80% predicted, and at least 1.0 liter
  • Use a stable long-term inhaler plan (LAMA plus LABA, with or without an inhaled steroid) for at least 3 months
  • Have had at least one COPD flare in the past 12 months needing prednisone and/or antibiotics
  • Be able to use inhalers correctly and have at least 70% daily inhaler compliance during screening/run-in
