Who can take part
- Be an adult (18 or older) and sign consent before any study steps
- Have heart failure symptoms (NYHA class II to IV) caused by heart disease from blocked arteries
- Your heart pumping strength (ejection fraction) should be between 40% and 49%
- Have evidence of strain/heart failure on a blood test (NT-proBNP at or above 125 pg/mL)
- Currently be on the best usual heart-failure medicines like an ACE inhibitor or ARB plus a beta-blocker, unless a doctor says you can’t
