Who can take part

  • You have had your first stroke that was caused by a bleed (hemorrhagic) or a blocked blood vessel (ischemic)
  • Your stroke happened at least 6 months ago
  • You still have weakness on one side of the body from the stroke
  • Your other (non-weak) arm can move enough to complete the study tasks
  • You are not currently incarcerated
