MIBG heart scan study for aging and neurologic conditions

Who can take part

  • You have one of the specific neurologic diagnoses the study is looking for
  • Your STMS score is above 10
  • Your health is stable right now, with no serious active medical problem that could interfere
  • Your medicines have been steady for at least the last 4 weeks
  • You are able to avoid certain medicines that can affect the heart scan results
  • If you have dementia or severe parkinsonism, a caregiver can stay with you at least 4 hours/day, 5 days/week
