Who can take part
- You had a stroke at least 6 months ago
- You can do some active movement with your affected arm (specific minimum shoulder, elbow, and wrist/finger/thumb movements)
- Your baseline “arm use” score is low enough to qualify (Motor Activity Log score average under 2.5)
- You score 24 or higher on a brief memory/thinking test (Mini Mental State Exam)
- You can understand the study, answer the arm-use questions, and give informed consent
- You can travel to and attend treatment sessions in the lab setting
