Who can take part
- You have a confirmed diagnosis of astrocytoma (proved by tissue pathology).
- Your tumor was surgically removed at the study hospital, and a small reservoir was placed to collect post-surgery fluid through the scalp.
- You must be able to come to scheduled visits and have MRI scans (with contrast) and tumor-fluid sampling.
- You should be recovering well from surgery (at least 28 days after surgery, with no ongoing safety problems).
- Your general condition should be reasonably good (Karnofsky score 70 or higher) and you are expected to live more than 12 weeks.
- You should not have had certain prior treatments (including prior bevacizumab/anti-angiogenic therapy or prior anti–PD-1/PD-L1/CTLA-4 therapy) and should not have more than two tumor recurrences.
