Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You can understand French well for written and spoken questions.
- You have focal temporal lobe epilepsy for at least 1 year that does not respond well to seizure medicines, linked to hippocampal sclerosis.
- You are currently having presurgical evaluation for epilepsy.
- You can safely have an MRI scan (no MRI contraindications) and you do not have severe claustrophobia.
- You are able to sign consent and agree to be notified if the MRI finds something unexpected.
