  • You are an adult age 18 to 65
  • You have difficult-to-control (drug-resistant) focal epilepsy
  • You are scheduled to have SEEG testing as part of pre-surgery planning
  • You can understand and complete thinking tests and sign consent
  • You are not pregnant
  • You have social security coverage and can sign the study consent form
