Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older.
- Your heart’s pumping function is reduced (LVEF under 45%).
- A “heart team” believes you could benefit from either stents (PCI) or bypass surgery (CABG).
- You do not currently have very unstable heart failure that needs strong IV heart support, breathing support, or a heart pump device within 48 hours before study randomization.
- You have not had a heart attack of the specific types in the last month (especially a STEMI or type 2 MI).
