Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old
- Your heart pumping function is low (left ventricular ejection fraction 40% or less) from a test within the last 2 months
- You have important blockages in multiple coronary arteries (often involving the LAD or left main artery), confirmed by angiogram or pressure-based tests
- You’ve been started on heart medicines (guideline-directed therapy) for at least 1 month, or started in the hospital before the procedure when newly diagnosed
- A Heart Team says you could reasonably get either bypass surgery or a stent (CABG or PCI)
- You can give informed consent
