Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old
- You have confirmation of a solid cancer and at least one brain metastasis that needs surgery
- You can get focused MRI scans (MRI is not a problem for you)
- Your daily function is fairly good (KPS 70 or higher)
- You have 1 to 4 brain metastases, and one is large (over 2.1 cm across)
- Your cancer outside the brain is controlled or responding to treatment
