Who can take part

  • You must be 18 to 75 years old
  • You already had bariatric surgery, and you were part of an earlier metabolic study with this research group
  • You must be able to communicate with the study team and give written consent
  • You should not have claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces)
  • You should not have metal implants, because they may prevent an MRI test (magnetic resonance spectroscopy)
  • If you can become pregnant, you should not be pregnant, and you must not be breastfeeding
