Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of HFpEF (heart failure with preserved pumping strength)
  • You are 65 years old or older
  • Your kidneys are not in the very advanced stage that requires dialysis (eGFR under 15)
  • You have not had a negative 99mTc-pyrophosphate heart scan within the last year
  • You can lie flat and stay still for 15 minutes during the scan
