Who can take part
- Be at least 2 years old when you enroll
- Have AML confirmed by standard diagnostic criteria
- Have relapsed AML (blasts return in bone marrow or blood within 6 months of complete remission) or refractory AML (at least 5% leukemia blasts in bone marrow after two intensive treatment courses)
- Have a related “half-match” (haploidentical) donor available for the trial and complete donor antibody (DSA) testing
- Have enough heart and lung function (oxygen level at least 92% on room air; heart pumping strength meeting the trial threshold)
