Who can take part
- Your AML must have the NKG2D ligand marker (confirmed on lab testing).
- Your AML must be relapsed or refractory (not cured by chemo, or it returns after response).
- Your bone marrow must have more than 5% leukemia cells (or above a certain level on flow cytometry testing).
- Your organs and heart must be strong enough: bilirubin, liver enzymes, and kidney tests within limits, and heart pumping (LVEF) at least 50%.
- You must be able to breathe well (no active lung/blood infection issues; oxygen level at least 92% while resting).
- You must not have certain major medical risks: brain bleeding/stroke-type history, uncontrolled heart rhythm/QT problems, HIV, hepatitis B/C active infection, pregnancy/breastfeeding, or prior CAR-T/genetically modified T-cell therapy.
