New treatment for partial rotator cuff shoulder tears

Who can take part

  • Your MRI shows a partial tear of the supraspinatus tendon that is under 50%
  • You do not have a supraspinatus tear over 50% or any full-thickness tear
  • Any other rotator cuff tendon tears (infraspinatus, teres minor, or subscapularis) must not be over 25%
  • No recent injection: you did not have a corticosteroid shot in the last 3 months
  • You are not currently dealing with a body-wide infection that needs antibiotics during the study start period
  • You do not have skin infection or a sore/lesion where the treatment would be placed on your shoulder
