This study looks at how signals from the nervous system may affect the body in people with obesity. You may be eligible if you meet specific measurements for waist size and do not have certain medical conditions or recent smoking history.

Who can take part
- You do not currently smoke and have not smoked in the past 3 months
- You do not have metabolic disease (like diabetes) or neurological (brain/nerve) disease
- Your waist size meets the study cutoffs: men >102 cm or women >88 cm, or (if below) men <94 cm and women <80 cm
- You do not take anti-hypertensive (blood pressure) medicines
- You do not have diabetes, and your blood pressure is not in the study’s hypertension range based on a 24-hour blood pressure monitor (average must be below 130/80)
