Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You have a dental implant in the back jaw (molar or premolar area) that has been in use for more than 3 years
  • Your implant is positioned in a specific way in the bone and under the gum (enough space from certain bone plates, and in an approved angle/placement)
  • You have not used antibiotics or regular anti-inflammatory pain medicines (NSAIDs) in the last 2 months
  • You do not have uncontrolled health conditions like uncontrolled diabetes
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
