Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 55 years old.
  • Your usual care doctor is planning a pre-surgery visit and you may be admitted to an epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) with brain electrodes.
  • You can read, understand, and sign consent papers in writing.
  • You are generally in good health (except epilepsy) based on exam, labs, and an ECG, and your BMI is 18–35.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and pregnancy testing at screening will be required.
