Testing a memory-boosting drug in epilepsy surgery patients

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You are already scheduled to have epilepsy surgery where doctors place electrodes in your brain to map seizure activity.
  • You are generally healthy aside from epilepsy, and your doctor agrees you can take part.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
  • You do not have moderate or severe liver, kidney, or bladder problems, and you are not taking certain medications that could interact with the study drug.
