HighLife valve replacement for severe leaking mitral valve

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and agree to join the study by signing consent
  • Your mitral valve leakage is moderate-severe or severe (at least “3+” on heart ultrasound)
  • Your symptoms match heart failure class II, III, or walking-limited class IV
  • Your heart valve shape/size is suitable for the HighLife catheter valve (annulus and leaflet measurements must fit)
  • You can get required heart imaging using a transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) and follow all follow-up visits
