Who can take part
- You have geographic atrophy caused by age-related macular degeneration (GA from AMD)
- You can safely have eye surgery with monitored anesthesia care
- Your vision in the study eye is between certain ranges (BCVA about 29 to 60 letters on the ETDRS chart)
- Your operated eye has had cataract surgery already (it’s pseudophakic)
- You are not pregnant and not breastfeeding
- You do not have dementia or significant memory/cognitive problems
