Who can take part

  • You must be over 65 years old.
  • You must have a recent stroke within the last 72 hours (either bleeding or not bleeding).
  • You must have a diagnosis of dementia, depression, or delirium (or be screened as having one).
  • You can be on or off common brain symptom medicines (donepezil/rivastigmine/other anti-dementia drugs, memantine, and antidepressants).
  • Your other health problems must be stable and well controlled (for example, treated high blood pressure).
  • You must be well enough to follow study tasks and have consent you can give (or a legal helper if you can’t).
