Prevent lung transplant airways scarring with ARINA-1

Pre-Bronchiolitis Obliterans Syndrome

Who can take part

  • You had a lung transplant in both lungs more than 12 months ago
  • You are age 18 to 75 and can follow the study plan and visits
  • In the past 12 months, your breathing test (FEV1) dropped by 10–24% from your transplant baseline
  • You have been on a steady immune-suppressing medication plan for over 4 weeks (including a steroid and another immune medicine)
  • You have been taking a stable maintenance course of azithromycin (for over 4 weeks) before screening
  • If you could become pregnant, you must use reliable birth control during the whole study
