Who can take part

  • You have a cartilage injury/defect in your knee and you are scheduled for knee surgery.
  • You are between 16 and 50 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.5 and 30.
  • Your knee alignment and stability are not significantly off (no untreated/uncorrected instability).
  • You can understand the study and sign informed consent; you do not have an uncontrolled metabolic disease.
