Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have severe cartilage damage in the knee (grade 4, where bone is exposed) confirmed by MRI
  • Your doctor recommends surgery for your cartilage damage
  • Your BMI (body weight relative to height) is 27 or lower
  • You do not have significant joint space narrowing on X-rays
  • You are affiliated with French social security or a compatible insurance scheme
