Compare two knee repair methods for cartilage damage

Who can take part

  • Be between 15 and 50 years old
  • Have symptomatic cartilage/bone-under-cartilage knee damage (grade III or IV) that is 2.5 to 15 cm²
  • Have tried non-surgical (conservative) treatment already and it did not help enough
  • Be generally healthy enough for surgery (ASA score 2 or lower)
  • Be willing and able to follow the rehab plan and come to pre- and post-surgery visits
  • Be able to give informed consent to join the study
