Who can take part
- You’re an adult currently in hospital care in the Greater Victoria area, or you’re referred to Victoria General Hospital for rehabilitation
- Your main problem started within the last 16 weeks and is a recent nervous-system event, such as stroke or traumatic brain injury
- You have one or both: hemiplegic shoulder pain or knee pain due to osteoarthritis
- You can attend study visits, follow the study steps, and complete questionnaires in English (or with an approved interpreter)
- You should be able to consent (you can use a legally able helper if you can’t sign yourself)
