Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have IPF (or doctors strongly suspect IPF)
- You recently had an acute flare-up with new breathing worsening within about 1 month, and scans show new lung changes (or—if scan is missing—your team may still call it “suspected flare-up”)
- Your flare-up is not fully explained by heart failure or fluid overload, and no other clear cause (like a specific infection) has been found
- If you can become pregnant, you agree to effective birth control during the study
- You can sign consent (or a legally approved relative can sign for you)
