Who can take part
- You are currently in the hospital for worsening heart failure symptoms like swelling or shortness of breath.
- You have been on strong IV water pills (diuretics) but they aren't removing enough fluid.
- You still have signs of fluid buildup, such as swollen legs, high neck vein pressure, or belly swelling, after trying higher doses of IV diuretics.
- You are at least 21 years old and can agree to participate.
