Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 or older).
  • You were diagnosed with sepsis in the last 24 hours while in the hospital (or you were discharged within the last 48 hours).
  • You have a high risk for hard-to-treat “Gram-negative” germs that resist many antibiotics (for example, recent IV antibiotics, long hospital stay, medical devices like a urinary catheter/lines/ventilator, or known MDR germs).
  • A sample from your infection (like blood or other cultures) was taken before starting the study antibiotics.
  • You are expected to be in the ICU for more than 3 days.
