Who can take part
- You are at least 18 and can give informed consent
- Your brain MRI shows the tumor is growing or has come back after prior treatment
- You must be able to have surgery to remove part or all of the recurrent tumor
- There must be at least 3 months since your last radiation and at least 4–6 weeks since certain chemotherapy finishes
- You have to be well enough for surgery (Karnofsky score 60 or higher) and be recovering from prior treatment side effects (to grade 2 or less)
- Your blood and liver/kidney tests must be within allowed ranges before starting treatment
