Who can take part
- You can sign and date a consent form to join
- You are 18 or older
- You have had an ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel)
- You have weakness in your arm or upper hand
- You are planning to get a vagus nerve stimulator implanted
- Your doctor believes you are a safe candidate for the implant surgery
