  • You are 22 years or older
  • You have had a stroke
  • You already have a Vivistim VNS device implanted
  • You speak English only
  • You live at home and do not need help with daily activities
  • You have not had any language training in the language you want to learn
  • You have already used the device safely during movement therapy and at home without problems
  • You are willing and able to take part in a six-week home program
  • You are stable without other serious medical issues that might interfere
