Who can take part
- Be 18 or older and able to sign consent and follow the visit schedule
- Have an advanced solid tumor (not prostate) that can be treated with a topoisomerase I inhibitor and has a DNA repair gene defect like BRCA1, BRCA2, ATM, or PALB2
- Have at least one measurable tumor spot on scans and no curative treatment option
- Finish prior cancer therapy and be recovered enough (including acceptable blood counts and organ test results) before starting
- Be able to take pills by mouth and have adequate kidney, liver, blood, and overall health status
- Use strict birth control during treatment and for months after (or you must not be able to get pregnant / not be able to father a child)
