Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 18 or older.
- Your breast cancer has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic).
- You have not yet had any treatment for your metastatic breast cancer (this would be your first line of therapy).
- Your cancer is HER2-positive (confirmed by a special test).
- You need to start a treatment that includes trastuzumab (Herceptin) and pertuzumab (Perjeta).
- Your heart function is normal (ejection fraction above 50%).
- You are expected to live at least 3 more months.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
