Who can take part
- You had your first ischemic stroke recently and are currently stable (not getting worse).
- A brain/neck artery test showed a moderate to severe blockage or closure (at least 50%), on the right or left side.
- Your stroke severity is low right now (NIHSS score 3 or less).
- You have not had artery surgery like balloon dilation for this problem.
- You can complete study check-ins and paperwork consistently, and you can sign consent.
- You are 18–80 years old, and you have at least 6 years of education.
