Who can take part

  • You must be an adult (18 or older) with severe aortic valve narrowing that needs TAVI
  • You must have symptoms from this valve problem and be considered high risk for open-heart surgery
  • You are currently taking beta blockers as part of your usual treatment
  • A heart specialist team must agree that TAVI is suitable for your heart anatomy
  • You must be able and willing to do follow-up visits and sign written consent
