Who can take part
- You have osteosarcoma confirmed by tissue biopsy (pathology).
- Your lung cancer came back after surgery, and all visible lung metastases were removed within the last 8 weeks.
- At least one removed lung tumor site must be confirmed as osteosarcoma metastasis under the microscope.
- You’re between 8 and under 30 years old, and you can receive under-the-skin (subcutaneous) injections.
- You must be well enough to participate (Karnofsky 60%+ if over 16, or Lansky 60%+ if 16 or under) and have life expectancy over 2 months.
- Recent cancer treatment side effects must be mostly resolved, and your blood and organ tests must be within required limits (including adequate liver, kidney, white blood cell, and platelet counts).
