Who can take part

  • You need surgery because your tricuspid valve is leaking or absent
  • The replacement must be for the right-sided heart valve (not the left or “systemic” valve)
  • Your heart size/structure must fit the device (the valve opening must be at least 10 mm)
  • Your lung pressures must not be too high (and blood-vessel resistance must be limited)
  • Your blood can be safely managed for the required blood-thinning medicines
  • You can attend required follow-up visits and your doctor can consent for the study
