Who can take part

  • You have non-small cell lung cancer confirmed by biopsy (tissue or cell test).
  • Your brain MRI shows fewer than 5 brain metastases, with at least one spot 5 mm or larger, and the spots are not too close to the optic nerve or brainstem.
  • Your tumor has an EGFR “sensitizing” mutation (either exon 19 deletion or exon 21 L858R).
  • You have not used EGFR-targeted drugs or other TKI pills/therapies before.
  • You can take pills by mouth and do not have pregnancy or breastfeeding.
