Heart failure patients having bypass surgery are studied

Who can take part

  • You have heart failure with reduced or mildly reduced heart pumping strength (EF less than 50%)
  • You are scheduled for coronary bypass surgery for blocked coronary arteries in more than one vessel
  • You can agree to the study and sign separate permissions for tissue/blood sample collection and genetic testing
  • You are not refusing bypass surgery and plan to take part in the study
