Who can take part
- You must agree to join the study and sign informed consent
- Your age must be over 40 if you have ATTR or AL cardiac amyloidosis, or over 30 if you have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
- You must have one of these confirmed diagnoses: ATTR or AL cardiac amyloidosis, or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
- You cannot have severe kidney problems (estimated kidney function eGFR at or below 30)
- You must not have the most severe heart failure symptoms (NYHA Class IV)
- You must be able to safely have heart MRI (no contraindications) and not have had bad reactions to MRI contrast (gadolinium)
- You should not have atrial fibrillation that is not well controlled, and you must have no reason you can’t take tafamidis (if applicable)
