Imaging heart uptake of bone tracer in ATTR amyloidosis

Who can take part

  • You have heart failure that needed (or currently needs) fluid pills (diuretics) and you have high BNP or NT-proBNP blood tests
  • Your doctors suspect ATTR amyloidosis affecting the heart
  • Your echocardiogram shows thick heart muscle (septum more than 12 mm)
  • You can sign consent and use an acceptable birth-control method if needed
  • You should not have end-stage symptoms (NYHA class IV) even with diuretics
  • Your expected life span should be at least 6 months
