Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old
  • Your doctor recommends a procedure to open a heart artery (PCI) for a stable or sudden heart problem
  • Your blockage involves a complex artery branch split (where one artery divides into two)
  • You can get the procedure through a safe access site (your medical team must confirm this)
  • You can take required blood-thinner pills after the procedure (DAPT), and it’s not unsafe for you
  • You are not expected to need a major surgery soon that would force stopping blood thinners for a long time
