Stem cell injections to slow vision loss in retinitis pigmentosa

Who can take part

  • You have retinitis pigmentosa with vision better than 20/100
  • Your eye test (ERG) shows conical cell function above a set threshold
  • Your measured visual field is larger than 10 degrees
  • You can and agree to sign informed consent for research
  • You agree to have peribulbar injections (near the eye) using umbilical cord stem cells
  • You can attend all scheduled visits and complete eye testing (including ERG and OCT) and quality-of-life surveys
