  • You are between 18 and 40 years old
  • You have focal epilepsy (seizures that start in one area of the brain)
  • You can understand instructions and fully participate in study activities
  • You do not have another major brain or nervous system condition that could affect thinking
  • You are not currently taking medicines that can strongly affect thinking or memory
  • You do not have severe sleep apnea (a serious breathing problem during sleep)
