Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with ATTR heart amyloidosis (either by heart biopsy or a specific bone-scan blood flow test result).
  • You have heart failure and your healthcare team has you using water pills (diuretics), plus a BNP blood test level at or above 450.
  • You can walk about 4 meters (with or without a cane/walker) and manage basic daily activities on your own.
  • At the time of starting the study, your heart condition is stable enough for study testing and exercise.
  • You are not already doing regular moderate-to-vigorous exercise (more than 30 minutes per day, at least twice per week) for the past 6 weeks.
  • You can follow the study plan and provide informed consent (and you don’t have major medical problems that block safe exercise).
