Levofloxacin antibiotic with IV clot-busting for acute stroke

This trial tests whether adding the antibiotic levofloxacin to standard IV clot-busting treatment is safe and improves outcomes after an acute ischemic stroke. It may help by reducing complications related to infection or inflammation, but you must meet specific heart, liver, kidney, and medication-safety rules.

Levofloxacin plus clot-removal for acute ischemic stroke

This study tests whether adding the antibiotic levofloxacin to standard emergency clot-removal (endovascular thrombectomy) is safer and more effective for people with an acute ischemic stroke. It may help by reducing complications after the procedure, but it’s being studied to confirm benefits and risks.

NCT07754825Not yet recruiting· Phase 2
Treatment for acute ischemic stroke within 24 hours

This trial tests an investigational drug called LT3001 for people who have had an acute ischemic stroke (a type of stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel in the brain). The drug is given within 24 hours of the stroke to help reduce the damage and improve recovery. Participating could offer access to a new treatment option that may help improve outcomes.

Tirofiban after delayed clot-dissolving treatment for stroke

This trial tests if a medication called tirofiban can help people who had a stroke 4.5 to 24 hours ago and received clot-dissolving treatment (IVT). If you have had a stroke and your symptoms did not improve or got worse after IVT, this study might offer a way to prevent further disability.
