Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older
  • You have symptoms or recent heart events like chest pain/ischemia, or a heart attack (timing matters)
  • You have a new (not previously stented) artery blockage that can be treated with a drug-coated stent
  • The blockage has severe calcium buildup
  • Your heart pumping strength (ejection fraction) is 25% or higher
